
This is me
My name is Jessica Kirkpatrick and I am based in the North West, UK. I am currently studying my Masters degree in textiles, specialising in print, at the Royal College of Art. I with natural processes creating sustainably produced printed textiles. to be used in the interiors industry.
My work is always centered around the natural world making sure i do as little damage to environment as I can.
Throughout my undergrad I worked on both art pieces and projects centered around print. For example, completing projects that involved creating an entire gift wrap range, to exploring the beaches of my hometown to produce a textural project with a woven outcome. My final for, my degree, collection featured fabrics and wallpaper designs catered for interiors, centered around endangered species.

2016 - RBA Scholar - My ceramic bowl was exhibited in both the Mall Galleries and the Lloyds Register Gallery, London
2016 and 2017 - My final collections for both my AS and A level art and design was exhibited in the NADFAS 'Drawn From Youth' exhibition, at the Fylde Gallery (Lytham)
2016 - Worked with the Lightpool Festival (Blackpool)
2018 - Placement at Standfast and Barracks (Lancaster)
2019 - Placement at rug manufacturers (Glossop), Flair rugs
2019 - Placement at textile design studio (Liverpool), Quink for Prints
2020- Live brief with Tom&Dicks (Manchester) who chose my cushion design as the winning design to launch from their brand
2021 - Grand Challenge competition
